Hi Arlene. We are buying a few gifts for a family of 4 who are losing their
house and don't have much money...I know that there is always someone worse off
than me...and my husband and I help everyone we can. I hate being without money
...especially at Christmas...I LOVE to shop for family and friends. I had to
quit my job because of medical reasons...and we lost just about everything...my
husband is a very hard worker..that's all he does..and I feel guilty...lately
I've been at the doctors office a lot...I had 6 appointments this month
alone...it just gets so expensive...BUT...Christmas only comes once a year...so
I try to make the best of it.Oh..and I volunteer for a local humane
society...it feels so good to get an animal a happy forever home...or get a
lost pet back to it's heartbroken owner! Take Care~~Sharon

Hi Phylis...I'm so glad to hear about your husband! What wonderful news!
Our Christmas...just isn't Christmas this year...between family and friends
we've lost 9 loved ones this year...including my favorite Uncle who I was close
to...and in April...I lost my VERY precious tabby cat...I still miss her very
much and cry every day over her...I'm so depressed...add to that...no money and
health problems...and like I said...Christmas isn't Christmas....BUT...trying
to keep the faith and hoping and praying for a MUCH better new year...I don't
think I can handle much more!~~~Sharon

My husband is now in total remission and the latest pet scan was clean,
so it is a happy Holiday for us.

I was so glad to have my darlings TinkerBell the chi and Precious the
Shih Tzu adopted in late '06 to be with me the lonely nights he was in the
hospital getting treatments this year. He loves them too and missed them so he
had his own framed picture he would take with him for his room.

But were are happy to say all was successful, and he is fine.

I am so sorry to hear about your husband, I hope he is better?
I lost my Mom to pancreatic cancer in 2003 and the holidays are
rough........she loved Christmas.
              Prayerfully,Mare

Princess is looking beautiful, she is going to be a ballerina
also like my TinkerBell who does great pirouettes .... I'm still in love with
her, but unfortunately even with her moderate price, adding in shipping, I
can't think about applying for her.

My husband went through chemo this year and didn't work part of
the year, so finances are tough.

I'm sure you will find her an awesome home. She is a sweetheart!
