If your talking about my Joe, he was a double l/c......thick undercoat :-) There is no wire haired chihuahua. However, even if there was, Joe would not have been....he had the softest hair!! lol. The pic was from when he was young. When he was older, we kept him shaved except for his head and tail, lol. I use to comb his bangs over like a little boy's hair, lol Marsha
