Hi everyone..this is Sharon..I said I would post my test results when I got
them from the doctor...I figured it would be good news...since it's been about
3 weeks ago that I had the tests done...you know...no news is good
news...well...not so...I had to call my doctors office for a prescription
refill yesterday...so decided that I would ask about my test results... so she
looked at them...and then said...did you know you're diabetic? I said
"No"...It's not bad...so hopefully I can control it with diet
changes...but...it does run really bad in our family...Dad has been on shots
for a while...my youngest daughter Mandy...is diabetic and so is my oldest
son...they are both on the insulin pump...our grand-daughter is also
diabetic...she takes shots. I really didn't think I was diabetic...I know I
have low blood sugar...but they told me it could change. They also told me that
I have "fatty liver disease"....I don't know much about it yet...all I do know
is it's fat deposits in my liver...Marion sent me some information she found
online...it can be very serious depending on how far along it is....I go back
to the doctor on the 18th...and will know more about all of it then. I also
have joint problems that my doctors are trying to pin point..they keep checking
for different things...including lupus...so far NOTHING has shown up except
arthritis. I have "trigger finger" in thumb on my left hand...it's
worthless...I can't bend it...can't use it. The doctor said I have to have
surgery to fix it...I'm scared to death to be put to sleep...so don't see that
happening...lets see...OH....my thyroid...he's trying to get that under control
too...am I forgetting anything??? Oh yeah...just this lousy rash that itches so
bad it's about to drive me insane! They don't know what it is yet
either...but...I did read that sometimes people with liver disease get a
rash....yeah...some days I don't even feel like getting out of bed...feels like
all my strength is gone...and I'm so tired of being in pain! So...for all you
people out there who pray....please pray for me...it's been a really bad year!
