I was told keeping coats, shirts on would not let skin breathe and could cause hair loss...Its darn freezing here but we have blankets and fake furry covers (found at thrift stores) and we burrow down and bundle up. I also found a heated bed for him that I move to the office when I'm awake and to bed when we retire..great for my feet too LOL
