My two jump all the time. Up and down off furniture. Makes there legs and joints strong and flexible. Just like exercise. Mine too also one is short legs the other long and skinny legs.
Only you and God know your heart.

Unfortunately Texas doesn't have those laws that I know of. It was such a short distance, but it's amazing that all that could happen in just a few minutes. But again, she will not be back there again. I'd rather have our big dog inside with her, than the other way round. She was a bit scared (at first) of jumping off of our porch and one of our higher beds, but she is starting to over come that. She was riding in the truck y/day (inside) and when she had to get down, she jumped. She slid a little but rolled and got right back up. She's such a fighter and I love that. Now we have to work on having the windows rolled down. If she's in the back, and we roll the windows down, she hears the wind and just lays down. Or when she's riding in our lap and we roll the window down she wants no part in it. She gives a little whimper and hurries to get in the back. I think it's b/c it sounds like she's outside (like when she fell out). B/c she used to love the windows rolled down. She would stick her head out and just wag her tail. Hopefully she'll be back to herself after awhile.
