I know what you mean about weight...Miley's parents were both 4lbs and she is 6 months old and already weights 5lbs...You can't go by the parents....Miley's mom is a brindle and her dad is a tan/white...she looks nothing like them ...she is a black/tan ....The breeder said that Miley looked like her Mother's Mother....chihuahuas are so different from litter to litter sometimes even with the same parents...I don't care as long as she is happy and healthy!!!

I don't remember the weight of the parents, but I saw them and they were not as big as Cesar is. The weight was the guess of the breeder who has been breeding for 30 years. Cesar's legs are not long, and he has dainty paws, so he's not very tall. But, the length of his body is long and I think that's what makes him heavier but in no way can he be called fat. He also has a beautiful and delicate head, ears, and eyes.

My Cesar was suppose to chart out at 5 lbs but at 17mos he weighed 8 lbs at the last vet visit and probably weighs 9 lbs by now.
