Thank you so much. I will most certainly do this. I have tons of treats that she liked for 2 days then that was it. ALSO, I am real real health nut and do not want junk in such a little body. Diana

I usually wait until I need some other things too because of the shipping costs. http://www.drsfoste rsmith.com/ product/prod_ display.cfm? c=3307+15011+ 616&pcatid=616 And here is my dogs all time favorite treat. The beef liver ones. They weren't nearly as excited by the other 2 flavors. They come in a 2 pack and I usually order 5 or 6 (equalling 10 to 12) at a time. Yep that many last me a long time, but I also take a whole can of them and put it in a chopper and turn it almost into powder. Then I use a bit of the powder to "dress up" Scooters wet food. I also cut these up into 6 or 8 peices for training. Never met a dog that didn't go crazy for these. They are healthier than most treats, because they are nothing but liver, freeze dried. http://www.drsfoste rsmith.com/ product/prod_ display.cfm? c=3307+19+ 13189&pcatid=13189 Joy B ----- Original Message ----- From: diana roller To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ups.com Sent: Thursday, September 04, 2008 8:18 AM Subject: [SPAM]RE: [Chihuahuas] Pediolite for dogs ?? What is the name? Thank you for your thoughtfulness ! I searched this whole town, drugstore, pet store, grocery; I could not find any. I gave her pedialite and the Vet gave her a shot because she has a virus. She is much better today but I am watching her close. ( of course, I always do anyway) She is my little one that my world is centered around. To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ups.com Date: Wednesday, September 3, 2008, 11:43 AM Diana, some on this list advise against the use of honey but the breeder that I got Cesar from recommended a blob of honey (Burlesons) in his drinking water daily (she's been breeding for 30 years). When I checked with my vet he said it wouldn't hurt so I did it for almost a year. Then as he got older and bigger, I reduced the number of times a week I put honey in his water but I still do it at least once a week. Ask your vet. To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ups.com Date: Wednesday, September 3, 2008, 10:33 AM Chihuahuas are prone to a drop in sugar and the Nutra Cal (comes in a tube, you can just squeeze a bit into her mouth) usually will give them a quick fix. Even if she appears to be doing better, a trip to the vet seems in order. Good luck, hope your baby will soon be feeling better. It is kind of like pediolite for dogs I think. I cannot remember the name of it. Also, where do you purchase it?? Kiko was really sick yesterday, lethargic, dilated eyes, threw up, really hot etc. She is not much better this morning. Every word that you guys wrote went running thru my mind Like did she have low blood sugar like Claudia has experience with, etc. etc. I checked her over for bug bites and there were none. What is missing when a dog eats grass?? Thanks for your help you guys. Lotza love, Diana Get the MapQuest Toolbar. Directions, Traffic, Gas Prices More! Get the MapQuest Toolbar.
