Wow!  That's a lot of homeless Chis babies over there.  I am on the East Coast,
near DC and it's very rare to find a Chihuahua at any local rescues.  There are
waiting lists for them sometimes.  It's really nice of you to take two in but
it sounds like you have your hands full with your own 8 dogs!  I wish there
were more people out there like you that are willing to help.  And BTW, I have
never heard of a rescue that doesn't provide the food for their fosters.  But,
it seems they can't because they have too many rescue dogs as it is.  Well,
good luck if you decide to foster them!  You are a Chi angel!

She is cute!!

Pray for me please.  The Rescue who I used to foster for has pleaded me
to take 2 Chi's. There has been an urgency in Northern and Central California.
There are so, so many Chi
kids out there with no homes - she has 15 to 23 at this time.  I am so sadden
by this.
We have 5 of our own and 3 big pooches.

This time I have made it clear she would have to bring their food - she told me
she doesn't normally provide the food.  I asked her why do other Rescues pay
the fosters for food??  She said, right now it's out of control!! (which didn't
answer my question).
MORE stuff on my plate!

WWJD??

Here's another pic that Powder's first mom sent me.  It's of her playing with
her little Chi friends.  She's the white one.
