Sharon, you have got to see this show. The main character looks just like Katie, only larger. I kept thinking of Katie the entire show. The show is very very good, it has a plot, I cried 3 times in it at cute parts. I don't think that it will make everyone want a chi. It is about some other breeds as well and at the end of the movie it says something like: The directors of this movie and the Humane Society want you to know that there is a large responsibility in owning a dog,it is a commitment; therefore, check everything out before you get a dog.
