First, rest assured you are NOT being mean by confining your little
furbaby when he can not be properly supervised...you are being
responsible! An unsupervised, free running pup is a recipie for disaster!
As for if you should litter box train, take out, or pad train, that is all
a matter of personal prference...which ever works best for you and your
family...just be consistant in whatever you decide.

Bathing...I still stand by a two or three times a year full batjing for a
short coat chihuahua...maybe a few times more often for a long coat.
Between baths, they should be wiped down with a pet wipe, or even a baby
wipe. Over bathing is one of the leading causes of dry skin in a chi. Each
bath strips away some of the natural oils that are in the coat, which
keeps the skin moist. A regular wipping with a baby wipe removes surface
dirts and odors, but allows the coat to keep its oils. Chis are generally
a very clean breed, but most will find the dirtiest thing they can to roll
in, lol...I save bath times for when they find these rolling messes, lol.

Shots are generally given 2 to 3 weeks apart.
