Gloria,
Oh hon don't you worry you will do an excellent job of raising
your new pup. I didn't comment on the posts about the ages when to get your
new pups because mine were all 12 weeks Except Graycie Blue. I got her at 6
weeks and she was 9.5 oz. I had already bought Belle and Daisy from her and
they were one year old. I sent her pics monthly, told her when they got shots
and their new weights so I think she trusted me with this tiny baby. Now
Graycie Blue is 6 months old and 1pound 14 oz. Girl, she is thriving--- hey
she
even survived out on her own for 2 days and made her way with Belle back home.
You waited so long for this special guy that I KNOW you will raise him to be
healthy and happy.
                 Blessings,
                       Sheila

Gloria,
Congrads on your new baby. Better the baby with you than an unexperienced
chi owner. I think that the pups mature at different stages. Trinity’s first
litter was seven pups and they had to take turns nursing. I didn’t adopt them
out until 12 weeks because they were small. (in fact due to the new owner’s
circumstances I held three of them for an added week). But Trinity’s last
litter was only 4 and they grew fast. I started to advertise them at 8 weeks
because they where a lot more mature than the little of 7 at the same age. In
any case, I know you will be a great mom to him. Don’t let anyone tell you
otherwise. You know your puppy best.

I am so sorry that I shared the news of my new baby. Now, God forbid, if
something were to happen to him, most of you would probably accuse me of
murder. But you know what, the baby was being sold and I figure that his
chances
are much better with me, since I do know a little bit about But you and have
friends to guide me. Tomorrow, I'll set an appointment with the vet and
lets pray that he is healthy.
