I am the owner of this group, I started it back in 1999. I started from
scratch, I created the group and let new members join as they wanted. I
DID NOT advertise in any other group, I never lured anyone from their
group. I am so appalled at the "join my new group" invitations that
have been posted here, without my consent or approval. I would never
have allowed it anyhow. I'm surprised at the people that have taken it
upon themselves to do a thing like this.
This group has had its up and downs, and overall has been a very nice
friendly group of people that have enjoyed chatting about Chihuahuas.
That is the way it was intended to be. What has happened here has
gotten way out of hand. I don't understand this.
I have never had to step in and post this type of message, and I am sad
to do so. I must say that I am very upset and must demand a stop to
this. This group is about Chihuahuas, lets get back to that. If anyone
is so unhappy that they wish to leave, please do so, but don't take my
members with you. Anyone can start their own group, but don't come here
to make an instant group by advertising out loud or behind-the-scenes
thru private email. My group is not here for your personal use. I'm
sorry, but this had to be said.
Many people have posted their views on my "moderation" of the group and
many have made wrong assumptions about me. I understand this, since
most people think I'm never around. But this doesn't mean its and open
door for anyone to take over.
