But seriously...I would just go plead with your land owners...explaning everything to them...about your son....how you care for the dogs...how they are inside etc. I would approach them on the "asking for Mercy side" instead of the "demanding your rights side"...that might need to come later....remember sometimes you get more flies with honey...
