Joyce, thank you for your expert opinion Joyce. i really trust breeders. as i am a great dane breeder... i know how to keep her eating and "going".... my trickiest part was getting the right calcium in ground bone. i feed raw. she is now eating, at 10 weeks , ground chicken quarters bone in, fatty ground beef , and chicken livers. all ground and mixed together. 80%meat-10%bone & 10%liiver... she is doing amazing... only bout with low sugar was before she was eating liver, the day she got too much bone and became constapated and didnt eat all day.. i gave her nutra stat a couple times and that helped her to "go" and then i added liver which is a natural laxitive and full of "B" vitamines. so im thinking we found the perfect mix for her... she seems to be regular and full of energy . when i got her she was pooping bloody water...at almost 8 weeks old. so to be healthy and regular now is great news to me ... i have to mix her food with care but i love what raw does for both the extreeme sizes i have. darcy, her name is "Monster" for many reasons! lol
