Yes that is why they are scooting or rubbing there backsides.. My two girls both have had problems.. Smidgen's got so full that they ruptured! Now I didn't know she was having problems cause they would never scoot in front of me. My BF saw on of them doing it once. I came home one time and Smidgen had a hole on her backside. It looked like someone had stabbed her? I rushed her to the vet and this was the problem. Glands were packed. I have tried to express them but I can't get it right. Now Chassis didn't have any symptoms, but one day she just was in pain? couldn't figure out what was wrong. Again took her to the vet and she was packed full too. I need to take them both in to have done, as it has been a few months. I wish I could figure out how too do it? I have watched it be done, but I think I am afraid to hurt them. They are just so tiny...
