For reals? Oh thank you as honestly you are the only person I know that I would give my most precious babies to. I am going to add it in my will along with the money. thank you so much I know that you would love them just like they were your own. But I plan on being here with them as I do not think God wants me to come home yet, I still have work to do here. LOVE YOU LOVE YOU Nancy

I am still trying to find the perfect home - as I would want them to go together and so far the only person I can come up with is you.... I really like your idea of starting a savings in case something happens to me. I do put $50 a month per animal in an account in lieu of medical insurance for them as I think that is so much wiser but if it isn't used I do roll part of it over for the next year. I think I will roll it over into a "In case I die" account instead of spending part...not as much fun but probably much smarter!!! Big round ears & short pointy ears + Apple & Fox My sweet Deanna - you amaze me! You are such an angle to all mankind. I love that about you that you take care of your animals just like your human babies (me too). When I adopt a pet, they are my family and my responsibility to ensure that they have the best life possible and that they always know they are loved and cherished. I also make sure that I have the funds to take care of them if they are ill. Just like I did when my babies were born, I would scrub toilets if I had to if my girls needed something. I also have a small savings account put aside for them in case they out live me. It is a lot of work...the parrots get fed fresh veggies and fruits, cooked mashes, treats and seeds everyday...baths 2 times a week...actually showers...cages scrubbed and cleaned daily...toys to make, rotate and clean...training and work each day...stands to be wiped down and sun room cleaned each week...all just for the parrots. then of course there is all the stuff for the dogs!!! Parrots take a LOT of time but the pay-back is 1000 fold!!! They are like having forever 6 year olds!!! With vocabularies that fit that age as well!!! I wouldn't want my life any other way!!! Big round ears & short pointy ears + Apple & Fox LOL - I have heard stories like this! Talking Parrots that call the dog - oh I pity the pup. I went to your site - love your 'pack/flocK'. All of yours look well cared for. I'm a sweater girl - will be crocheting sweaters all the time, I'm sure. When I was a college kid I had a Doberman who I made sweaters for - she wouldn't go outside without her coats - in fact I think she thought she was pretty fancy! I know a dog that is almost hairless needs protection from the cold. Big round ears & short pointy ears + Apple & Fox Ok...have to share...my Blue and Gold Macaw Stella LOVES my dogs!!!! They are all very good friends. She thinks they are her personal retrievers!!! They bring her toys when she tells them too as well as dropped p-nuts. Stanley my Amazon loves them too and calls them to him all the time...but he does not have the same deep friendship with them all as Stella does. Both Parrots call the cat, Miles...and he use to come to their "Here Kitty, kitty" call...until he realized their calling him was only so they could nip him good. They both HATE Miles!!!!and Miles has never been aggressive towards either of them...they just hate him though!!! Big round ears & short pointy ears + Apple & Fox LOL Bigger Parrots have disdain for dogs. I don't think the Budgies will be dive-bombing the dog! - but they will be jealous [which is unclear]. They help me make our bed - silly things run all over the bed and tug at teh covers. I will have to be careful. They are pretty hyper and get very vocal - hope they don't encourage the dog to be vocal. Big round ears & short pointy ears + Apple & Fox My little budgie has been dead a long time. For the past 8 yrs I've had a red bellied parrot named Beau. Beau was here before Emiliano came to live with us and he does not like him. He will dive bomb him every chance he gets, he also mimics me and will yell at him "Emiliano, get in the den" when he dares to walk into what he perceives to be his space Gloria -----Original Message----- From: Brea Hicks <[email protected]> To: [email protected] <[email protected]> Sent: Thu, Nov 4, 2010 1:18 pm Subject: Re: [Chihuahuas] Standars?? They are standard size - not Show/English. Rio is 3 1/2 - a pale blue with a white head & Bow is 2 - a skyblue yellowface so yellow his blue is now green except in small areas. They are a lot of fun - we have them out of the cage all day - mostly they stay in their room on top of their cage or gym - but they get so excited when someone comes home. Bow loves to ride around on my shoulder - all day if I let him. Rio is always pulling my hair so he can kiss my cheek. All this is pretty much untrained! I really hope a small dog won't be a problem with them - I hope I can train the dog to leave them alone. Big round ears & short pointy ears + Apple & Fox Ears - Is there a corrct size? Head shape - I like both but was puzzled when I saw the differences. When someone mentioned the 'fox' head I was intrigued - had only ever heard of the 'apple'. If nothing else the standard for Chihuahuas seems to be a healthy mix. I have noticed that some breeders have the smaller eared dogs and they tend to be 'apple heads'. Some dogs seem to have really big ears- all are seriously cute. Nice for us owners - we can have a choice. It all seems moot as I will be getting a rescue - but already I can see all the variations. Coats, ears, head, colouring.....makes me think they are more like my Budgies LOL
