Diego Rivera was a muralist, the most famous, but he painted on canvas as well. Google his art. The painting I shared is by a local artist. Last weekend and again this weekend, we are having a walking tour of artist studios here, hundreds of them, all kinds of art and jewelry. I purchased "Mi Amor" during the tour and I agree, it is special.

Wasn't Diego Rivera a muralist or did he paint on canvas too? I am in college and majoring in spanish and our spanish teacher told us he was a muralist. This painting you show here, Gloria, is gorgeous. I just love it.

Speaking of Frida, you know she was married to Diego Rivera, also a famous artist. This past weekend, I went on an Art Tour and bought a lovely little painting by Julian Martinez Orosco of Frida and Diego, titled
"Mi Amor" (my love). I am inserting it onto this email.
