Yes Rylee you are right. My heart hurts for her. I guess I am very fond of her. 
she helped me alot when I first go ricky and did not know anything about chi's. 
I know dogs... but the chi is a horse of a different color I have found out! 

I love to hear of rescue stories, but yes, some want that special puppy for the 
family to bond with. I think puppies and kids are great as long as they pic out 
the right dog for the family. a chi is not a good family dog with kids. Now a 
nice retriever is an excellent family dog.

Shanna-  I agree with you whole heartedly.  Not all of us rescued our 
pups.  It doesn't make us bad people.  I bought mine at a pet 
store.  I didn't know where to find a chi in Rural Idaho.  I wanted a 
puppy that could be raised with my kids.  Not all rescues are suitable for 
family life.  I still support the shelter and rescue efforts.  

Deanna has a ton on her plate and has shared a ton with our group.  We 
should be respectful of each others trials.  She asked for our prayers not 
to be preached at!
