Amanda,
I feel the exact same way, when I became sick I lost 80% of my friends, which I
guess they really were not my friends to begin with. I like you consider my
babies my bestest friends too, when I am sick in the middle of the night they
lick my tears and will not leave me alone until my pain goes away. Lots of
times they know when I am going to have a crisis and Abbey will get on my chest
to wake me up, which gives me time to take my meds so that I can at least slow
it down a little.
Amanda, humans can be so cruel. To judge someones insides with their outsides
is denying that person the privledge of getting to know a beautiful friend.
Learn to love your body that God gave you. The Oprah website has so many
wonderful stories about women learning to accept and love them selves for who
they are. I feel your pain and understand. My own family has told me many times
"they are only dogs" well to me they are not just dogs, they are my best
friends, they live with me and love me for just me. If I am sick they comfort
me. To them I am the most perfect person in the world. The fact that you have
so many little chi's that adore and love you says a lot about the kind of
person you are. I always think that God sees and loves me the way my dogs do,
they love me because I am kind and loving and make sure that they never go
hungry or allow anyone to hurt them.
So again embrace the beautiful person you are, we can not pick our family that
is why we have friends and our animals.
I hope that you feel better and that you hang around. I get so much from this
group.
Have a wonderful day, Nan and the girls

Let's pray that 2011 will be peaceful for all the world!

sadly to say they are my best friends. I am slightly over three hundred pounds
and cannot walk far before it begins to hurt badly. but at only 32 people tend
to make fun of me so I prefer to stay home mostly. even my family doesnt quite
understand and tells me to get over it. but my chis always listen to me. they
never judge me or criticize. even when i am sick i can count on them. when i am
getting sick duncan will run into the bathroom with me and nuzzle against me
while i am ill. sometimes he even has to jump into the shower with me! I  tried
shutting the bathroom door but hee would cry and actually ate under the door
until he could wriggle through! so much for privacy. lol. but i love them
dearly and would choose them over anything. when my husband got angry and said
there were too many it was them or him i told him i would miss him!

I'm sorry for the drama I have caused. If you really want me to stay I will and
I will keep the drama to a bare minimum...lol. Yes I have six precious babies
of  my own. My oldest is Ozzy Lee. Officially his name is Sir Oozle of Lee. He
is my drama king...lol. He likes to steal my jewelry and makeup, I have to
watch him. He loves mardi gras beads. He is a big cry baby. He is also the one
who takes care of everyone else. He cleans all their ears and eyes. Bless his
heart though no one does it for him except me. His favorite thing is his
sneakers. When he puts them on he doesnt want to stop moving. He runs, he jogs,
heck he canters. He walks better in his shoes than I do in mine.  My oldest
girl is Belle aka Lady True Blue Belle. We also call her MooBelle, she is my
chunky monkey. She is the more laid back leave me alone type of the group. Next
is Duncan Macleud. Our vet calls him Duncan After Dark since he will not hurt
himself during vet hours. Bless
his heart he has cost me at least five hundred dollars just in after hours
fees! He broke his leg as a baby and ever since he has been mama's boy, my
shadow, stuck up my butt! He has to be with me at all times or he cries. He
truly thinks he is an extension of me. Then is Gracie. Liberty Belle's
Hurricane Gracie. She is a natural disaster. A white chihuahua with blue spots.
She is Belle and Ozzy's daughter. She is my tomboy. She will wear clothing as
long as it doesnt have lace or ruffles. She will not do the girlie
thing....lol. She bosses everyone around, even her mama. She is a free spirit
and does her own thing. Next is USN's Seal Team Amber. Amber is the daughter of
mom's dogs Brownie and Candi. She was actually an ugly puppy! In fact mom
couldn't give her away! She was born the day after Gracie so I wasnt looking
for another dog but I fell for her, a face  only a mother could love. The
strange thing is noow she is gorgeous and everyone says she
is the prettiest chihuahua they have ever seen. She is my girlie girl. She
loves anything frilly or lacy. The more ruffles the better. She is dainty and
my little lover. Last but not least is USN's Seal Team Six. Seal is the
smallest of my chis. He is as wide as he is long...lol. I have to drag him away
from the food pan. He will eat til it is all gone no matter how stuffed he is.
He is my little lowrider, so fat that his belly drags the ground. Right now we
have two fosters as well. Boo is Candi and Brownie's daughter. Rufus is Belle's
son. Boo is attached to my mom. Rufus is a dork. Well that's my babies. I've
attached a picture of Duncan and baby Amber the ugly duckling.

Have A Beautiful Day, Each And Every Day!
