When I go out, I put Dolly & Desi in their respective areas.

When I come home, Dolly is all excited…she rolls on her back so that I can
tickle her belly and then I pick her up and give her a kiss…then she wants down
and usually right to the door to go potty.

Maybe just some little loving gesture for maybe less than 5 minutes may be
enough for her to then go out for potty.

Hi

If she is in a kennel all day while your working, it could be she is very
excited to see you and wants attention from you and not be put outside so soon.
is it possible that you leash her and take her for a walk when you get home or
go outside with her while she is doing her potty? I think she wants your
attention right when you get home..:)

I have a female chi who is 18 months old. I am having a really hard time potty
training her. She is kept in a kennel when we are working, and when we get home
we put her right outside to go potty. She sometimes will come right back in and
run off to pee somewhere in the house. I praise her when she goes outside. She
pees mostly, and poops once in a while. I do have potty pads inside in case
(usually for night time). She sleeps in our room with our other dog, and pees
on her potty pad at night. Any suggestions? I'm so frustrated!
