DARN! I had my whole message about Peanut written...and then Sox jumped up on
my desk...onto my keyboard and canceled the whole thing! I have to call the vet
back in 5 minutes so I guess I'll wait now...anyway...I like the vet who is
taking care of Peanut now...he seems to be a caring person...and he's nice and
explains everything! Some of my family members have used him in the past...and
my mom's friend takes her dog and cat there now. I took Peanut in around noon.
They were going to lance the abscess. I called and checked on him at 3pm...they
said everything went ok and he was resting...I'm going to call back to the
office now and talk to the vet...then I'll finish this message. Ok...Peanut is
doing fine...they said he was curled up in a little ball...with his "blankie"
Ha
Ha...He has to stay over night but I can pick him up in the morning. The area
is
still draining pretty bad..still not sure if they'll put in a drainage tube
before he comes come. This has been an expensive week...the first vet was
$71.00...my bill from the new vet will be about $200.00...maybe more...they
can't give me the total till tomorrow. The main thing is my little Peanut man
is
going to be ok...and I'm so thankful that Dave has a decent job! Thank you for
your prayers and good thoughts.
One more thing...could you please pray for my cousins husband...he had surgery
on Wed...it doesn't look good...it's a long story but he was in the Gulf War
and
has had nothing but a lot of medical problems since then. He's 41 years old and
needs a heart transplant..(they didn't do the heart transplant on Wed..it was
something to do with his stomach) he was on life support and they took him
off...now they're putting him back on...the doctor told my cousin it doesn't
look good..they have 3 sons...it's so sad...he's a good person.
