They gave him a shot of antibioitc/corticosteroid and then the clavamox...at 
the first vet I took him to.I'm just glad the new vet lanced it and he's doing 
good...Thank you for your thoughts and prayers!

Will continue to pray for Peanut.  Sounds like he's on the wrong antibiotic.  I 
would take him to somewhere asap, to get one the infection is sensitive to.  
That's from my nursing perspective.  I doubt your vet did a culture and 
sensitivity on the infection.  It's a fairly broad spectrum antibiotic, but 
doesn't work for a number of things, so it needs to be changed right away.  If 
he is on the correct one, you should see improvement within about 24 hrs.
