Thank you, Gloria.

I'll confess. I am a professional photographer. That's part of what I do for a living. However, I also take a lot of memory photos of my Chihuahuas just for fun, too. Plus photos of the world around me. Photography can be just fun. It doesn't always have to be serious.

I really can sympathize about your not being to squat. Indeed that can make doing photography more difficult. A while back, I injured both my knees very badly and could hardly move; let alone squat. I was in physical rehab for months & still have to be careful of what I do. One wrong move could make the old injury flare up again, & I wouldn't be able to do my job. I have a bad shoulder, too. That came from repeatedly carrying a lot of heavy camera equipment http://www.pbase.com/britestar/image/56702811 over the years. Oh well. We just live with the problems we have, but still manage to live & enjoy life to the fullest. Do you have a camera with IS? That would help with the camera shake.

Is those your photos on the Home Page?

I love seeing the photography of others. Plus I especially love seeing animal pictures.

I forgot to mention in my intro that I've been a Chihuahua show breeder for about 30 years. I started when I was just 17. However, I've never bred dogs in quantity. Quality with health and soundness was my goal. My very limited Chihuahua breeding program has produced that. Lately I've been too busy with my work to be able to take care of puppies (a full time job); so I haven't had a new litter in a couple of years or so. I've shown and titled my Chihuahuas in both Conformation and Obedience. I've also done Agility and Rally. But all that takes time. Therefore, I've been out of the show rings for a couple of years now. This means my furkids currently only model PLUS live life as beloved family members. Being loved is the main purpose of all Chihuahuas.

Oh, Liz, what lovely photographs! I am an amateur photographer and have hundreds, if not thousands, of photos of the animals in my life. Now, I can't squat, and sometimes my hand shakes, so the quality of my photos is not as good as it used to be. I look forward to seeing more of your photos.

Gloria
