here is the info on getting a POP voucher... http://www.sbcounty.gov/acc/spay_neuter/voucher_program.htm The vouche is $50...so your cost would be around $14...but you have to have the appointment first as the POPCO voucher program needs the date the surgery is scheduled and the vet doing it! Hope that helps!!! Hi all.. I am going to get my Beebee Spaid.. I faxed some information to a place called The Sam Simon Foundation.. I got an automatic response from them saying that they are not doing free spay nutor at this time..If anyone has heard of them and/or used them before and can give me a contact number, I would appreciate it vary much.. I am currently trying to stay away from my Neighbo'rs daughter since I had some difficulty with her of late.. And, she is so concerned about my dog that she is almost about to take her away from me since she gave me to her in the first place.. For one reason, she doesn't like me using the pee pads. Second, she feels my dog is not getting enough sunshine and I live in an apt building.. So, she is healthy and happy.. That is all that counts.. But, I am looking to get her micro chipped and spaid as soon as I can so she can leave me alone and go her way.. I told her when she first gave me the info as to where to go, I callled and the number lead me to Animal Control in Long Beach, Calif.. they therefore told me I need to get some type of certificate from them of $50 and $40 I needed to come out of pocket for paying the clinic.. Well, since my finances are still unstable and My BF recently lost his job.. So, I am on a fixed income and most of the money is left for bills and food for us and our dog.. I am not trying to make excuses since I love her and don't want to lose her.. When something like this happens, I want to do the best I can to take responsible for my actions for my animal..\ I still haven't been able to buy or order one of the slings or carriers that someone on this lists sells.. Anyway, I am rambling here because it does scare me.. So, if anyone can help me here, please, email me off list so I don'tclutter up the list with more unnecessary email.. Thank you! Portia, Southern California
