And you then are able to get it the medical care needed. Did the buyer sign a written contract? Liz I will give her her money back and I wil;l take my pup back and I will get it seen by my vet and get proper vet care. But I will not let her have her cake and eat it too. Basically people like that are the reason breeders have to take the steps to protect themselves....because they want to basically get a free pup....no she does not get the option of going out and continuoulsy running up a vet bill and expecting me to pay for it. You take on a pup you take on the care of it as well. AS far as heat.....at these temps, my bill is already near 400 a mo....if I was a byb and making a killing off these dogs I maybe could raise it and pay the 1000 a mo it would cost me to keep it on say 70, but since I do NOT make any money on my pups, I, like everyone else in this economy, am doing the best I can......
