Let me get this right. Your granddaughter has a pet Chihuahua who
got accidently bred by a Yorkie? The Chihuahua is now at week #7 in
her pregnancy? How far into week #7? I guess that doesn't matter.
At this point, it no longer is a matter of a simple spay of the
Chihuahua to abort the puppies.
Any surgery at this point will now be the equivalent to having a
C-section. By seven weeks, the pups are very well developed. If the
pregnant bitch is a big girl, she probably should be able to free
whelp Yorkie mixes just as well as she could Purebred
Chihuahuas. If the Chihuahua is a little girl, then, things may be
more difficult. In either case, there is always the possibility that
she will need a C-section.
It certainly sounds like you and your granddaughter are between a
rock and a hard place. One way or another, there is going to be a birth here.
Some Vet Clinics will let you may payments for the surgery over
time. So to make sure you can save the Chihuahua's life - should a
C-section be needed - you might want to do some inquiries ASAP about
which vets will tell you pay off your bill over time. That way you
will be prepared and then able to go to a Vet who will save the
Chihuahua's life if things come to that.

We brought my granddaughter a toy chinhuahua. She is 17 yrs old. The
pup is now 7 monthes old and we got a big big problem. I am a sharpei
breeder and handler. So I am not to keen on this breed. Well she took
the pup everywhere and she forgot to bring her home. The pup came
into heat and her boyfriend has a yorkie
Male and they breed I had warned her to crate her at all times for a
month until she was forsure out of heat and didn't listen. Now she
is pregant with three pup she hasn't had them yet. There due in two
weeks. We had x rays done and the dumb vet couldn't even read them
grrrr. I can't efford to c section her what do we do and she wants
the pup to have the babies and she don't want to fix her and abort
the pups were in need of help or funding of some kind to save her
life and the pups. As for me I don't ever have these kind of problems
