My opinion, too. I heard this story several days ago. Although uncared-for animals can potentially carry a host of nasty things, OUR clean, healthy dogs are IMHO perfectly safe to have share our beds.
Since way back when I can first remember, I've always shared my bed with a Chihuahua. I can't image not doing so. One of the first things that I teach my pups is to "give a kiss". Frankly, I'm more afraid of their catching something from me (like if I have a cold) than I am catching something from them. If I'm not feeling well - to protect them - I won't let them give me a kiss. Otherwise, I love Chihuahua kisses and believe that these little ones belong in our bed with us. Prospective puppy buyers even get "brownie points" if they say they plan to have their new Chi sleep in bed with them. Liz This is a bunch of hooey! In MY opinion. ------------------------------------ We are now on Facebook! Join today! http://www.facebook.com/groups/chihuahuasclubYahoo!
