stick to your guns Portia and re-schedule...he is obviously a volunteer or just completely ignorant. Wait a minimum of 90 days...that way you are positive her hormones are completely back in balance. All 3 of my vets say the same thing! Also ask him about a spay when they just remove her ovaries and not her uterus. SO much better option and much safer down the road with conditions that may arise.
