Yeah…I sent Shanna an email after I found the one that she sent me. She will probably reply.
Perhaps when things are written and we know that person would never say those things, maybe we should just clarify what we think that they said. If I remember there were two hot topics, one was the person who said she was blind and had the sick puppy that she sold (any one hear what happened with that?) and the other was the lady (Carol Lopez??) whose granddaughters chihuahua got pregnant by a yorkie and the puppies were too big to be delivered naturally. I belong to another Chihuahua group also. Usually the posts on that group are always about the same. Rarely is there any exchange between everyone about other things. We all have Chihuahuas and because of that there are sometimes other conversations that come out of a post from someone…and it is important to remember that we need to word things the way that we would like to receive them. Everyone has their own opinion and there is nothing wrong with that, it is just important to remember that our opinions should not point a finger at someone and branding them as wrong. Sometimes I just want to read the emails to see what is going on, and from time to time voice my opinion (which I do not profess to be the only right answer) and hear the opinions of others. Guys...both Nancy and Shanna left the group the same time I was going to. It was their choice to leave...no one booted them. I got private emails back and forth from both of them...shanna just wanted to take a break...she felt so bad about everything...she may come back. As you know Nancy and I are really good friends...she just doesn't like the negativity that comes on the group every now and then. Nancy is a very positive sweet person...it really hurts her when people get rude. She doesn't want the judgementalness or any mean spiritedness in her life...and if she can be successful at keeping it out I think that's a good thing! I tried to do the same thing...I too was tired of it...and the group really did some changing there for a bit. But...I just missed you guys so much!! I enjoy the debate to some extent...it really is how I learn. And to be brutally honest I think this is a good place for me to practice giving my opinion about something and then having a tougher skin when others disagree with me. I get my feelings hurt way too easily and I know I need to change that...and I really think this helps. I blow it...I say too much...I argue too much...but you guys seem to just love me anyway. Maybe that's what friends do! How boring would it be if everyone agreed about everything anyway? I will tell you that shanna felt just terrible about the things she said...it was so not like her...and I think she just needs some time to let things blow over. I hope she comes back,,,I think she will eventually! And really...I think it would be nice if those of you that miss both Nancy and Shanna would let them know it! I know it would mean a lot to them!!
