Hi Peggy...all my dogs put their toys away...every night and when I know
company is coming or just before I vacuum...they all know how. Madison is
learning but the little pickle...just as someone brings it to the basket she
thinks it's great fun to grab it out and run. She will get it though! I started
teaching this to the poodles back when I was breeding and had over 10. The
poodles were so easy to teach this to and Nugget...being the only poodle left
helped me teach every new one.

She sounds wonderful.  If she is that tuned into human expressions, then she
should be real easy to teach a lot of tricks.
Should be fun and easy and she will enjoy it because she knows it makes you
happy.

Ever think of teaching her how to pick up her toys and put them in a basket?
Or teach her to identify her toys and items by names?  Dogs that show they can
think for themselves, usually get those two tricks quickly.
If she does, then you have a real winner and she will be able to learn  a lot
more before she reaches 18 months.

The trick is for the human to train themselves first, so that they know how to
teach it to the dog, lol!

Hi Peggy,
She is a very solid girl...15lbs at 6 months. She was 6 months old on
Valentines day.  I think the thing that amazes me most about Mable is her soft
play with the littles...she loves to play but she tempers her level to meet
theirs...I never have to worry about her getting too rough. She is so smart
too...what an easy dog to train. She is so eager to please and is also 100%
comic. If you laugh at something she does...she does it over and over just to
see you laugh. Mable loves everyone...and all creatures...she is not afraid of
anything but not too anxious either...you can see her thinking things through.
I am amazed at her heart everyday...I am truly in love with her. Not
barky...potty trained completely in less than a week...super easy dog!!

Ahhh! cute!  Madison is growing!! How much does Mable weigh? I saw a couple of
Boston puppies last summer at our dog
park and they were soooo cute! They were solid little dogs with lots of
energy and just never seem to stop playing and take
a break. They managed to keep all the other dogs on their toes, lol!
