Thank you Gloria. I live in suburbs, I have a large lot, I really have enough room for my horse but unfortunately it isn't zoned for horses anymore.  Just down the street some people have horses, but they have lived on the property since it was once zoned for them.
The chickens will have a nice big yard to roam and scratch, and looking forward to fresh eggs. Just watching them scratch in the yard is relaxing. 
 
Okay I have been doing some heaving thinking the last 24 hours about little Vida.
I just e-mailed my ex and told him if he still wants little Vida, he can have her.
I just feel that I got him excited about getting her  & then got selfish.  I told him she would have to stay with me until she is all better, and I did ask him if he could help with the vet cost, as I do need to get Smidgen and Chassis in for there teeth cleaning.
So if he doesn't want her then she will stay with us.  So we will see what he says.

What a nice coop.  Here in this city chickens are allowed and I know several people who have some.  It just seems odd having chickens in an urban setting.
