Hey Beth, glad to see that you are feeling better! How is Vida doing today? Did you manage to find out if that other Chi got rescued or not? As far as Deanna goes...she dropped from the group weeks ago. The Papillon was my second choice to the Chi, when I was searching for a dog. I have seen pictures of the most adorable Pap/Chi's mixes too. They are a wonderful breed, but more active then a Chi and very easily trained for advanced tricks and agility. Very smart breed, willing to always please it's owner and not as stubborn as a Chi can be.
Are you personally interested in acquiring a Pap? I would think that if you joined a Pap group, some one may be able to recommend a breeder. I am glad that there are not too many on Petfinders and most of them are in rescues and not shelters, thank goodness.
