Hi Laura! Laura I am so very sorry to hear of your loss of Dizzle. I know that not only is it hard enough on us adults, but my heart goes out to your son, it is so difficult for them. It's good that you have other babies to help you all through such a sad time.

I mistakenly put in Dharma, whose birthday is not until October, instead of Delilah. However, we lost Dizzle on April 2 when he slipped out of his collar, ran across the street thinking we were "playing chase" with him instead of trying to get him back in the yard and got hit by a car. He went quick; as a matter of fact, he was gone when I reached the street and I was only about 20 yards away. No gore. He was still intact, just gone to the Rainbow Bridge. We mourned the loss so deeply that I haven't been around for the past few weeks. Delilah, his litter sister, still looks for him daily. She stopped whining at his crate since I put her in it now and gave her crate away. I think his smell comforts her. My son, Dizzle's master, has kept Dizzle's collar and tags on his gym bag for track meets, basketball tournaments, etc. I think he will get another puppy some day but he misses his best friend.
