Hey every one I just received this about the San bernardino Parking lot Chi's that were rescued. Foster mom is going to keep. She is needing donations if any one can help? I am going to send $20.00 when I find out where to send it too. I hope I am okay in forwarding this ? I just want to get the word out.. This is wonderful news! They are definitely getting used to seeing me. The vet went pretty well. Fortunately, mom pup doesn't have mange. Her bad skin is probably due to some sort of trauma and bad nutrition. I'm giving her omega 3 supplements (per my vet). Other than that, mom pup looks pretty good considering what she's been through. Baby pup is pretty good too except that she tested positive for giardia (worms/protozoas). Because both pups are living in such close proximity of each other, they are both on the medication. Baby pup also has a little bit of dermatitis type infection& she's on antibiotics for that. I could have held off on antibiotics but I want to get her spayed before she has her 1st heat cycle. Since we've (pups & me) have been through this much together, I've decided to be their permanent home. They're a little unruly right now (due to lack of training) but I can see that they'll be really great dogs in the near future. Plus that they're absolutely adorable. :) I don't know how this works since I'm taking full responsibility for them. Will people still want to donate to the cause? If not I totally understand and I'll take financial responsibility. So far they've gotten a good look over with the vet and I got them updated with all of their shots.
