Fingers crossed for you and Pia.... It sounds like you are going to have a choice of homes for her. Can't wait to get your next report and to learn that she is settled with her new family. All the very best. mj, benji and tilly

This weekend, she's been shuttled off for a trial run with her new family. A single mom, grandmother, and three children compose this lovely household. They had a chihuahua previously that they'd raised from a puppy, but she got out of the house and was never returned. The grandmother stays home to take care of the children, so there should be fewer issues with the howling which has gotten better since she's lived with me and which the family has been made aware of. If this home doesn't work out, there is an almost senior lady down in Reseda that already owns one chihuahua and is looking for another as a companion. One way or another, it sounds like this little girl will have a wonderful home! It's weird knowing she's gone. I will be checking in with the family again on Tuesday. In the event that they do choose to keep her, we will go to the local shelter and have ownership transferred and make sure the license is properly registered. So, it looks like I've got my happy ending and so has Pia.
