Pia has successfully been placed with a family that is so excited to have her as their newest addition. From what I've heard today, she's taken to the family like a fish to water and they've taken to her as well. They've reverted to the name she came with from the shelter - Muneca. All is well. Ownership was transferred today. So, this story has a happy ending!
