Thank you. She did fight hard. When they told her that she could have no more chemo and that she had two months to live, she lost her will and passed away in about four days. She had been heavily sedated and her one son was not able to get there until tomorrow, but he was able to talk to her by someone putting the phone to her ear. Not long after that conversation, she took her last breath.

That was a long time to battle and she deserves her reward. Prayers being said for your family. I was in contact with my oldest nephew on Sunday and then maybe around 8 pm tonight. Not much later than that, my nephew’s wife called to let me know that Barbara had passed away. I am sad, but I also know that my sister has gone to a much better place and is now with our Lord Jesus Christ. I am a bit serene about the news as I have the faith that lets me know that she is no longer suffering and she is reaping the rewards of living her life with God at the center. I am asking for prayers for the family…she leaves her husband of 38 years, her three children and five grandchildren. She also leaves me and my two brothers and one sister. Thank you all for the prayers for the survivors…she is loved and will be missed. Joan
