Wow.I would say that your dog is traumatized because this other dog attacked
him. Now things got twisted and your dog is the problem???

There are anti-bark collars - some that squirt water, some that emit high
pitch sounds. I don't think that I would be comfortably using them on my
dog.had thought about putting them outside so that the neighbor's dogs don't
bark, but I wouldn't like it if they did that to mine.

So sad.your dog is suffering because he was attacked, and now he is trying
to protect himself (and rightfully so) and that is wrong. I would talk to
your vet.there may be a way to make your dog feel safe. I hope, but I don't
know for sure.

Good luck and keep us posted.

Subject: [Chihuahuas] dog barking

I have a very big problem. My chihuahua went up to a chihuahua that lives in
my apartment building to check the dog out. all of a sudden the other dog
started sttacting my dog. Ever since then, when my dog sees the other dog he
goes crazy and growls and keeps barking, even when he sees the owner without
the dog with her. Anyway, the owner told the manager of the apartment
building and now we have a meeting to settle this problem. I tslked to the
owner snd she said she doesn't want to get anyone in trouble, but this is
driving her up the wall.
I'm on a low income budget and I can't afford to take my dog to get
training. What can I do? I'm very desperate! My dog is 6 yrs old. Is it too
late to train him? Is there a simple way to solve this problem. I will
appreciate all the help I can get. Than you!
