I am hoping that my Lily doesn't have this problem again. She is 2.5 years old
and has never had it before. I will keep my fingers crossed!

      Hi,

Our vet told me to feed my dachshund green beans from the can along with her
regular food. Either try the salt free or drain and rinse the regular. This
adds a lot of fiber and somehow allows them to express their glands on their
own. Cleo, our 6 year old deaf dachshund, used to scoot all the time but never
had THIS problem ...(ouch! must be really painful and bothersome for your
babies!) . The green beans have worked for her and it is also a low cal food
for the true food mongers out there  :)

(I am basically new too. I came here for advice on a chihuahua I rescued a few
months back and everyone was wonderful! It's good to be able to add my 2 cents
and give back a little tidbit!)
