When I was 16, we moved from Hemet to Escondido. Escondido was a very nice quiet place and then eventually things changed. There were a lot of gangs and other problems. If I hadn’t moved for my health, I would have moved to a safer area…or perhaps to another place. I live in North Las Vegas, NV now. I had serious mold allergies which were wreaking havoc on my respiratory system. The doctor told me that if I didn’t move in a year, that I would be on oxygen & a respirator. I moved…no respiratory problems here except the normal respiratory infection now and then.

It is still better than a big city like San Diego which is where I was born and raised. I think I past Highland on my way to Glendale a few weeks ago. It's off the 15 freeway, isn't it? Best solution is to have the glands expelled often. Take too the groomers to have done. Cheaper then the vet. Tracy we are close. I am in Highland Ca. I have 2 chi's & 2 Papillons. Also a ? about the anal glands. Hi Everyone! I am the mom to 2 chihuahuas. 1 named Lily who is 4 lbs and Bambi who is 12 lbs. I love them so much! We live in Southern California, Riverside County. It is 100 degrees here today! I am ready for winter! I have a question for anyone who may be able to help me. My little girl, Lily had to go to the vet last week. It cost me $100 which I can not afford. The problem was one of the anal glands. It had an abscess and it looked like a big pimple on her little bum:(. The doctor opened it and gave her a shot (you have never heard something so small make so much noise) I have antibiotics to give her at home as well. I have noticed her licking or biting at the sore. So, my question is should I be doing something else for her? She is 2.5 years old and this is the first time she has had the problem. Does anyone have any suggestions for me? I don't want to have to take her back to the vet if I can help it. She will probably flip out if she sees him again so soon! LOL Anyway, thanks for reading this and any ideas would be appreciated.
