It is funny.  My bino, the tiny one is such a dog.  I just wanted to wrap him
up cotton and never let him down.  In fact when I got him, he was such a
failure to thrive I carried him around all the time in a pouch and had to feed
him kibble by kibble to get him to eat.  But he grew up to be such a dog's dog
lol.  He always wants to be in the yard..rolling in any stinky he can
find..lying in the dirt..chasing squirrels and lizards.  No hot house flower is
he lol

Subject: [Chihuahuas] Okay, I need some help on this.

I will soon be designing a yard for my dogs (all under 20 lbs down to 3 lbs.)
I thinking of a board or vinyl fence 5 ft high with another foot of wicker on
top.  I’m not afraid of them jumping over it, but of big dogs coming over it.
If I have big dogs nearby I will put a hot wire on top of the wicker and
another down a foot or so.

The yard itself should be maybe 40 feet by 40 feet.  What do you think?  (I
have 8 dogs).  Because I sometimes take in deaf or blind dogs I don’t want much
in the yard.  Maybe one tree?  My dogs spend 99% of their time in the house.
What would you add or take away?  Is it too large or too small?
I want grass.  Most of  the play houses I have seen for dogs have too my places
the dogs could catch and break a leg in or even strangle.  (Okay, okay.  So I
am a worry wort.)  That’s why I want help with this.  I think I would put them
all in a padded room if I could.
