You know, I hope Ann, that you and Joan both sued those BYBs under the Puppy
Lemon Law, which all states uphold. The fact that they both keep on breeding
dogs with hereditary issues is braking the law and makes them liable to
refund your money and pay any Vet fees due because of it. I think the cap is
for the first year of the dogs life, and some states cover beyond that when
they know that certain related issues won't be seen till after the first
year. I would also hope that you reported them to the Humane Society so that
they can be harassed by them, into not breeding those poor dogs anymore. You
can Google it for your state and see where you stand.

I can't stand BYBs anymore then the PMs, there isn't much of a difference
between the two, except for the scale of how many dogs they breed, just for
the money.

My pups had the testicle problem and when neutered vet had to dig way up
into Chico's tummy and he had bad surgery and had to stay in hospital extra
day so Pedro stayed with him. I was angry that she was breeding dogs with
this problem. My neighbor had pup From same person and he had problem also
and can affect ovaries of females but they keep on breeding. I never knew
about this problem until testicle had not descended and Dr.Zobel talked to
me about it. We waited till they were five months old and then did surgery.
I cried all afternoon when vet called and told me Chico would have to stay
in hospital and wanted Pedro to stay with him. I have told that lady she
should not breed that dog but I think she still is.Pedro had his undecended
testicle just up a little and not hard to get out.
Some people just don't care.

Desi’s littermate brother was blue. I don’t know how they come up with blue
– to me it was kind of more a dark dark gray. He was very cute, too, and
had the same markings as Desi. They were both laying in the little area
together and I don’t know what it was…I think sometimes we just make choices
because they seem right without making any comparisons of what we want. At
four months, Desi was at least an inch taller when they were standing next
to each other. Desi’s brother was sold at a much higher price because he
was blue…and the lady that bought him thought that meant is was the rare
blue – the solid blue. She was so fixated at breeding him that she didn’t
even listen to Dr Bullard when he told her that she had to get him neutered
because he had a little time bomb inside of him with that testicular problem
She came over to my house after the vet and she said she will get him
neutered, but after he has a couple of litters. If you are told about a
problem that your puppy has…not just a ‘problem’ but a problem that will be
passed onto every male puppy – a problem that could choke off an artery or
an organ and if that doesn’t happen, a horrible big ugly cancer (my vet’s
words) develops and it is very fatal by the time that it is found. I know
that there are irresponsible breeders…but I know that no matter if I had
bought Desi to breed 100 litters so that I could sell the ones that I got, I
would not jeopardize his life nor the lives of all the little male puppies
that would be born with this condition. And it isn’t that if he had 100
litters and he lived it would be OK; his 100 litters of male puppies if they
were to allow to be bred just multiplies the whole effect. Desi & Elvis – a
case of an irresponsible breeder (not a puppy mill, maybe a stretch of a
back yard breeder) that could very well end up killing millions of dogs. I
guess that is the difference of the puppies just being a commodity and the
puppies being someone’s little loved one that we all care about.

She does look like what they call lavendar. My friend has a blue chi with
beautiful blue eyes and he is much darker. I wouldn't call it lavendar but
they do lol

Hello,

Can you please take a look at this photos and let me know what color
you think my chihuahua Stella is? Some have called her lavender. Her
eyes are hazel colored. Her skin is pinkish, nose is more of a light
...light tan pink. She's almost the same color as the Weimaraner
dogs.
