Hi all,

I took Dolly to the vet today for her 1 week checkup for her bleeding eyes.
Dr Bullard said that it is a lot better but wants me to keep her on the
antibiotics and eye ointment for another week and then bring her back.

Desi got to go with, and he was really well behaved. I might have him
trained to not be a little monkey when we go.

I then took them to get their nails trimmed and then got them home just in
time to put them in their areas so that I could go to my doctor.

My doctor said that I now have an ear infection in addition to what is
remaining of the bronchitis and sinus infection. He also gave me a
prescription for a stronger muscle relaxer for at night. He think that
might help me to sleep without waking up with cramps in my legs and the top
of my foot from my back. I discussed with him that I had really been this
sick all of the time in CA, and that I have been here full time for about 3
½ years and wonder if I have some new allergies that are not allowing me to
get better and also adding to the chronic sinus infections since the middle
of October. He is going to do a referral to an allergist and hopefully they
can test me. I might just have to be put back on allergy serum to
desensitize me from whatever it is that is wreaking havoc on me.

Until then, I just have to rest enough for my body to heal. I am just so
much more tired and exhausted every day, so after I finally get over all of
this, I want to be well for a short period of time before I undergo back
surgery. I can’t wait too long because the back muscles on my right are
very much atrophied.

Keep saying prayers for Dolly…I am praying that she does not have any vision
problems from this infection…the one that I should have caught before I
did…but I was all medicated and at that time my priority was to make sure
that Desi wasn’t removing her stitches.

I think we can all get back to sleeping a little bit here. We all have
enough meds to get us through the next several days and nights.
