Oh, Judy. I am so glad that you found out that it is a temporary problem.

I think that I had posted earlier that Dolly had colitis.she was very young
- maybe five months old. She was on the Science Diet ID food - I was giving
her the canned with a little canned puppy food added. She would poop and
then there would be a blood drop path from her area to wherever she came to
find me. I was so worried, but I never saw the dark diarrhea, but rather
the blood was coming out of her bright red and it was so scary to me.

Did you change the food that your little ones are eating? I had been
feeding her Nutro puppy food and the vet said that sometimes certain foods
do cause a problem.and when it is a puppy, it is sometimes more harsh if the
stomach is not yet fully developed. I had a few rounds with this until the
vet just had me keep her on the ID food until she was a little over 10
months old. She has not had colitis since then.thank God for that.

Give her a hug from me.and well, give them all a hug.

My vet was wonderful! She discovered Jewell had colitis. They gave me meds
and gave her something under the skin for dehydration. Then they gave me a
HUGE discount on everything. It only cost $69.30! That is over 50% off.
She ate dinner tonight (special canned food EN from the vet).

I am surely blessed. (I prayed for grace and mercy from the vet. and God
certainly granted it.)
