Ardy, bad doggie breath is usually from bad teeth or a diet that is not
agreeing with your dog, or digestive problems. Since Ceci is a puppy, it is
possible that she may have a couple of puppy teeth that are loose or
infected because they didn't come out when they should have. If you can't
see and throughly check all of her teeth, then a Vet visit may be in order.
It may also be that the Purina dog food doesn't agree with her. Personally,
I would never feed any dog Purina, they still use road side kill for their
meat and too many cheap fillers. Keep her just on the Royal Canin and see if
her breath gets any better after two weeks. If not, then it could be her
teeth.

I don't know where they are made, but right now I'm using Purina One puppy
food and Canin Puppy food. I was told to use the Canin because it keeps
their teeth cleaner... So far I don't know. Ceci's breath has always been
just awful.

I am wanting to switch my dogs to a better grade of dog food. I now feed
Pedigree Small Dog and they love it. I feed it because Pedigree has never
had a recall that I can find.

Now I want a food for them that is safe and meat based, made in the USA.
Anybody give me names and I’ll check them out. Thanks very much.
