One big rule my trainer told us. Is never ever give affection at the same time.
Causes them to battle of the most or best spot. Ends up causing many dog
fights. My two Danes And the chi know if one is getting love they must wait
till they are asked over. With my three dogs two are rescues one is a very
dominant female I have never had a dog fight. Just a piece of advice. Take it
or leave it

You really need to be the boss, letting them growl and force thief way is
telling the
It's ok to be aggressive and it will get worse
