Pam, he is so full of life because he is so grateful and happy that you took
him in and love him the way you do. I have always felt that rescues are
different, they just always seem to portray that some thing special, a kinda
of extra happiness comes from them.

Right about now, if I were in your shoes, I would be having a tall cool
glass of wine to settle my nerves, LOL. Try to get some rest, so that you
are fully rested when he comes home tomorrow. I am believing in that, and
you must too.

I wish we did too. They are both so beautiful and so discarded. All I want
is to give him love and happiness..like any of them deserve..My husband
thinks I am too protective..said he will be fine in the morning..and went to
bed..My gf went to ER with me. You know in your heart when you are
connected with these little ones, when they need help. And he did as hard
as it was to leave him.

ty Peggy. Sucks big time. Going to be a long night. He is such a sweetie.
Even as he was crying and agitated he was so good with the ER vets with
tail wagging etc. He just loves everybody and life.

Oh wow Pam. I am sooo sorry! So much for all of you to go through. Gigi is
the same way. I have to watch her like a hawk when we go for walks. A good
blood work is a good sign for his main organs, so that is hopeful. Big
prayers going your way tonight!!

Just talked to Er. They don't think he injured himself. It is more either
seizure related or something he got into. Unfortunately coming from his
background, he is a scavenger dog and everything goes into the mouth.. the
grosser the better..and swallowed before you can blink an eye. Both hubby
and I can think of something we yelled at him to drop outside just before
the time frame of the incident so can't even say what it may be.They are
treating it symptomatically at this point..lots of fluids to flush..etc..but
blood work looks fine. He is still very disoriented and shaky and crying.
Lordy I love this little happy bundle of joy. Unless I hear more from the
ER. updated in the morning. Thanks in advance for the prayers all.

Just got back from the Vet Er. Had to leave my baby there..so upset..crying
myself sick. Tino went to jump off the couch and his legs went right from
under him and he fell. Then he couldn't walk at all and was twitching all
over..tongue hanging out..completely disoriented. Thought he had a head or
neck injury. He was crying and crying..
Took him to ER and they think that he injested something. What, how, and
where I don't know but he was showing overdose or seizure signs..don't know
what yet. They will call me with results of blood work but I had to leave
him there crying like that. Breaking my heart waiting..
