He is much better. Tires easily, not much playing, which may be the prescription he is on, but this is the last day for that. When he gets tired, he gets angsty and starts crying. Of course Mom can't be out of his sight which is understandable..but we are making progress. He is a piggy so yes eating and drinking fine. lol.

Appetite, and drinking water okay? I received an email that some chi breeder passed away and the son is going to advertise for 20 free chis and 4 doxie's in the paper. He lives in Jacksonville FL, and says he can't afford to pay the boarding for them anymore. That's as bad as putting them on Craigs list. PMs are going to eat that up, and so will the ones who sell them to the labs and for the dog fights. One rescue got wind of it and is begging this guy not to give them away free. They are trying to get other rescues to pitch in to take all of them. I think I would rather know that they went to a shelter instead of the other horrible possibilities. I checked the Jacksonville Craigs list and there were a couple of chi's on there, but not from this guy. We just had a hoarder in Manhattan cleaned out with 55 chis and 11 other small dogs in a 2 bedroom apartment!! They are begging for fosters and rescues, because in the meantime they had to stuff them in cages together, since the shelter is over packed to begin with. We know that means that the poor souls that have been there for a while will have to give up there cages for the new chis. I hate the shelter cycle.....
