I don't think it was on this group, but there was a discussion about what brand of puppy pads people used. Someone said that they were afraid of the ones that gel up inside because their puppy tears them apart. I had called Simple Solution about the ones that I use. They said that a Chihuahua could eat more than six entire pads of the white part and all the other non-plastic parts and it would not do a thing to them. But, they said that the thing that you have to watch out for is your dog chewing on the plastic backing...because they have heard of dogs that had surgery and had that plastic in their stomachs blocking their regular digestive tract. Desi loves to chew the plastic syringes that come with their meds, and he will eat the plastic from the hollow plastic toys. Dolly was my rock eater.
