That was my thought to. But for them all to dye at differnt times I don't know.
Could it have been distemper?

Sounds like a genetic problem or Parvo.

not sure....got ahold of the woman who adopted the third brother and he died
last month....so all three from the litter are dead...moms little Kahlua, Then
Junior and last my sweet Einstein. Just seems so unfair they were just babies...

Amanda, so sorry you had such a sick baby. Didn't you go through something
similar with another dog not long ago?

I am really sorry that you had to go through that, and shame on that vet
for not helping you. I had very good vets in Texas and I sure do miss them now.
I am Kansas. I moved here in 2004. It took me till a few months ago of going to
differnt vets to find one I liked and could work with.

What makes me cry the hardest is all day he stayed on a blanket by my
feet. If I got up he lifted his head and watched til I came back. And the last
thing that little sweetheart did was to use the last of his strength to snuggle
closer to my foot. He was so loveable that even as he lay dying he just wanted
to be near me. The house is quiet. The chihuahuas are subdued, as if they hurt
as bad as me.
